The thirteenth In Chapters takes place at Dinefwr Literary Festival on Sunday
July 1. Day tickets are available from the Dinefwr website. As ever a revolving cast of
established and up-and coming artists perform new work based around a particular theme, curated by John Williams and Richard James. This festival theme is Nature – and features collaborations from an assortment of special guests, including:
Dinefwr’s gardeners:
Jeb Loy Nichols – Missouri’s very own country soul singer extraordinaire, will be wearing both his musical and literary hats
Trwbador – Everyone’s favourite new art/folk/pop/electronica duo, all the way from Llandeilo
Euros Childs – MD of National Elf Records makes a personal appearance
Jon Gower – New fiction from the Pwll polymath
Charlotte Greig – New song from In Chapters’ favourite neo-folkie
Dave Oprava – In Chapters resident beat poet returns
Jim Perrin – New fiction from the climber, travel writer and memoirist
The In Chapters band features:
Eugene Capper – Producer, engineer, songwriter and banjoist for The Evening Chorus, here showing his skills on the violin.
Ed Mugford – This most in demand sideman will contribute bassism and, who knows, maybe some sitar.
Iwan Morgan – sound collages and loops from the esteemed producer.
Plus your hosts.
Richard James: Musical director who may also sing songs.
John Williams: who will most likely read something.
In Chapters gratefully acknowledges the generous support of Literature Wales, the Welsh Arts Council and the PRS Foundation .
